The 2558 Halogen
Illuminator has been designed for use with TV at relatively short range, up
to 50m. The illuminator is a one piece halogen, with various wattage
available to meet power restrictions and operational range requirements.
The Illuminator
is available with a non conductive clamp which can fit any flat surface. The
clamp will fit directly on to the 2553 zoom camera. Fixed to the
illuminator, or a permanent IR filter window. Fitted to the lamp. Permanent
IR Lamps have gold flashed reflector to increase the IR output.
The
Illuminator is ideally suited to applications such as EOD Wheelbarrows,
remote control Vehicles and Rapid Deployment cameras.
Whilst
designed to meet land Service specifications the camera will also meet the
requirement for Naval Vessels and can be used in a variety of applications
such as monitoring flight decks, machinery spaces, winches and weapons
trials.
