The Tx 2500 is a high quality professional video/audio transmitter providing the highest technical specifications.

It has been designed for use in the demanding environments encountered in broadcast, airborne, military land vehicle and security system applications. The TX2500 will meet the standards expected by today's users.

General
Available in 3 models which cover the RF spectrum from 1.118GHz to 2.700GHz. Frequency is selected by rotary switches in 1MHz steps. This feature allows multiple transmitters to be used in systems with common spares holding. If interference is encountered, the transmitter frequency can be retuned in the field.

For simplified channel selection, a 4,8,16 or 32 channel select sub assembly is available as an option.

The power output is dependent on the frequency band, and the table shows the typical output power.

The basic parameters can be adjusted by approved technicians, including pre-emphasis, subcarrier frequency, video & audio levels etc.

Protection
The two electronic boards are mounted in an aluminium enclosure, milled from a solid billet of marine grade aluminium. It will function from -15°C to +52°C.
